Event description
Iva works in a garment factory in the Bulgarian countryside, making suits with "Made in EU" labels for an Italian company. When she asks the doctor for sick leave because of the flu, she learns that it is nothing serious and she should return to work. But Iva collapses at the factory and is taken to hospital, where it is revealed that she has contracted the Covid-19 virus. The news quickly spreads, and when other residents are infected with the virus, her co-workers, and eventually the entire town, turn against her. Stefan Komandarev has made a film that, in terms of its depiction of social issues and real problems, is the envy of Bulgarian cinema. And Dr. Rusev's speeches should be carved in stone!
