Výstava Stejné není stejné: Příběh věcí

Eva Francová’s exhibition explores layered memory and the transformation of ordinary objects. The artist works with fragments of old furniture and found natural elements. She deconstructs these mundane or discarded objects and then reassembles them into new works that take on new meanings. By connecting individual parts with hinges, she frees the objects from their static nature. They can be modified, opened, closed, and fixed in various positions. The original utilitarian object is thus transformed into an open, intermedia, and variable work.

The past of these objects is not erased here, but takes on a new form, a new dynamic, and a new chapter in its story.

The installation is complemented by time-lapse photographic records of the landscape and water surfaces. These are not mere documents, but visual testimonies to the fact that nothing remains the same in the flow of time. The exhibition helps us discover the fragility of the irreplaceable present moment.
