Public city transport

Public city transport

Pardubice is a compact city that is very easy to explore on foot. The historic centre, main sights, restaurants and cafés are all within a short walking distance. The city lies in the flat landscape of the Elbe lowlands, so you won’t encounter any hills while walking around.

Public transport in Pardubice is operated by the Dopravní podnik města Pardubic (DPMP). Buses and trolleybuses connect the city centre with other parts of the city.

Tickets can be purchased in several ways:

  • at ticket machines located at the main railway station and major stops,

  • as paper tickets at the Tourist Information Centre on třída Míru, at DPMP branches and in selected shops,

  • by contactless card payment directly on board,

  • through a mobile app, where you can also buy time tickets.

Tickets can also be purchased from the driver, but this option is more expensive as it includes an additional surcharge.

Taxi

Taxi services are available throughout the city. You can also use the ride-hailing app Bolt.
