Aquacentrum Pardubice – Summer Beach
The outdoor Summer Beach area is connected to the Aquacentrum and offers water fun during the summer months.
Visitors can enjoy a multi-purpose pool with several water attractions, including slides, water features and massage beds. There is also a separate pool for children, a paddling pool for the youngest visitors, as well as a playground and sandpit.

Gingerbread house
Just below Kunětická hora Castle stands the charming Gingerbread Cottage, home to the Gingerbread Museum and several fairy-tale attractions.
The house may look like it came straight out of a fairy tale, but it is actually a historic hunting lodge built in 1882 by Baron Richard Drasche of Wartenberg. Today, visitors can discover the story of traditional Czech gingerbread while exploring the playful, fairy-tale themed interior.

Game-preserve under Kunětická hora
The area beneath Kunětická hora Castle is home to the Kunětice Game Reserve. Visitors can observe several species of wildlife living in the local forests, including a pair of majestic European bison, a small herd of deer, as well as mouflons and wild boar.
Fairy garden
If you are looking for a place where children can meet and interact with animals, the Fairy Garden is a great choice. Guinea pigs, rabbits, sheep, goats and many other friendly animals are waiting to welcome visitors.
The area offers basic facilities, refreshments and a playground, making it a pleasant stop for families. The Fairy Garden is a non-profit ecological project supporting rescued and abandoned animals while promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable living.

Apolenka farm
Located on the outskirts of Pardubice, Apolenka Farm focuses mainly on hippotherapy and programmes involving horses. Visitors are also welcome to stop by, meet the animals and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere in the countryside.
You can feed llamas, goats and other farm animals, while children can have fun at the playground. Visitors can also enjoy refreshments, including ice cream, or buy local dairy products.

Castle Pardubice
Why not visit Pardubice Castle, the former residence of the powerful Pernštejn family? The castle grounds are also home to colourful peacocks – including several rare white ones – that visitors can often spot walking around the courtyard.
Families with children can enjoy a walk along the castle ramparts, where you will find an unusual barefoot trail made of natural materials such as pine cones, bark, sand and moss. Along the way, you can also see replicas of historic Pernštejn cannons. At the last roundel of the ramparts, children can observe the goats kept by the East Bohemian Museum.

Tyršovy sady park
Tyršovy Sady is a popular city park located right next to Pardubice Castle and just a short walk from Pernštýnské Square and Míru Avenue. It’s a pleasant place to relax, take a walk or enjoy some quiet time close to the historic centre.
The park was created in the early 20th century and later became the venue for a large national exhibition in 1931. Today it offers green lawns, paths and views of the castle, making it one of the favourite places for locals and visitors alike.

Na Špici Park
Na Špici Park is a modern multifunctional park located at the confluence of the Elbe and Chrudimka rivers. It’s a great place for sport, relaxation and outdoor fun for both children and adults.
The park features a large playground, a multifunctional sports field, workout areas and spaces for picnics and barbecues. A quieter part of the park surrounds the Čičák pond, where a wooden pavilion offers a peaceful spot to relax and observe birds.

Bubeník Gardens
Bubeník Gardens is the oldest public park in Pardubice, established between 1879 and 1880. Located along the Chrudimka River, it offers a pleasant green space close to the city centre.
The park is divided into two parts by the embankment of Matiční Lake. The northern section features many mature trees and a statue of the city’s first mayor, Václav Bubeník. The southern part has a more natural character and lies along the shores of the lake, which is often covered with water lilies.

Natura Park - Ekocentrum Paleta (Eco-education)

Excursion Boat Arnošt of Pardubice
Enjoy an unforgettable day on the water aboard the excursion boat Arnošt of Pardubice. The boat departs near the Pardubice ice hockey arena and sails along the Elbe River to Srnojedy, Brozany or Kunětice – from where it’s just a short walk to Kunětická hora Castle.

Outdoor Water Park Cihelna
The outdoor swimming pool complex is open during the summer season from June to September and offers plenty of water attractions for visitors of all ages.
Highlights include several waterslides, a diving pool, a lazy river, massage pools and various water features such as fountains and waterfalls. There is also a children’s pool and refreshment stands throughout the area.
