SFÉRA is an innovative education centre located in the Automatic Mills complex. It offers modern workshops, laboratories and interactive programmes that introduce visitors to science, technology and traditional crafts in an engaging way.

Visitors can try a variety of hands-on activities – from working with wood, metal or textiles to experimenting with 3D printing, physics or chemistry. The centre offers programmes for children, adults and school groups, as well as lectures, courses and creative workshops led by experienced instructors.

For younger visitors, Sféra also features the Spherical Playground, an interactive space designed for children aged 5 to 9.

Science on a Sphere

One of the highlights of Sféra is Science on a Sphere, a unique spherical projection system almost two metres in diameter. Using scientific data and visual projections, it shows natural phenomena on Earth as well as events in space.

Visitors can explore topics such as climate, oceans, atmospheric processes or the surfaces of other planets in an immersive and easy-to-understand way.

Special programmes on the spherical projection system take place regularly as part of the weekend programme.
