Exhibition dedicated to German women authors from the Czech lands in the 18th and 19th centuries
Today we all know Božena Němcová. But what do we know about her contemporaries, who also decided to write literature, but chose to do so in German? The exhibition presents the fate and work of more than two dozen German writers from the Czech lands.
The 24-panel exhibition was created in the seminar room of the Institute of Germanic Studies, Faculty of Arts, Charles University. It was realized in 2025 with the support of this institute and the Institute for Czech Literature of the CAS.
The exhibition can be visited when the library is open, i.e. every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 3 to 5:30 pm.
