Administrative Records Department
This department ensures performance of state administration with respect to the register of births, marriages and deaths, register of population, nationality (state citizenship), authentication, legalisation, provision of certified copies from information systems and registers (CzechPoint), identity cards, travelling documents, offences and other administrative wrongdoings, all this within the scope in which Pardubice City Hall is competent to carry out state administration and in which another city authority or another department of City Hall has not been expressly put in charge of such administrative duties.
It provides methodological assistance in the field of administrative proceedings to the other departments of Pardubice City Hall. It is authorised to review the management of administrative proceedings carried out by these departments with focus on monitoring the application of its methodology in practice and on optimising the process and administrative procedures in the sphere of their competencies. In cooperation with the relevant head of the department, it is authorised to determine and regulate the method of dealing with administrative procedures within these administrative competencies in a binding manner. The manner of providing methodological assistance, implementing subsequent reviews and determining the follow-up measures according to this article is regulated by a relevant directive issued by Pardubice City Hall.
Division for Registering Births, Marriages and Deaths
This department ensures comprehensive processing of paperwork for registering births, marriages and deaths, and state citizenship in the scope in which Pardubice City Hall has been put in charge of these activities, as well as performance of other related activities.
Division of Identity Cards, Travelling Documents and Registration of Population
This department ensures comprehensive processing of paperwork for issuing and registering identity cards and travelling documents as well as processing of paperwork connected with registration of the population, all this in the scope in which Pardubice City Hall has been put in charge of these activities.
Division of Offences
This department ensures comprehensive processing of paperwork dealing with offences and other administrative wrongdoings within the competencies of Pardubice City Hall in the scope in which another city authority or another department of City Hall has not been expressly put in charge of such administrative duties. It fulfils a methodological and reviewing function in relation to the other departments carrying out transferred competencies within the scope of enforcing administrative punishments (dealing with and deciding on offences and other administrative wrongdoings).
Section for Monument Preservation
This section carries out duties of state administration as assigned to the state body for 1st degree monument preservation within the administrative district of the municipality and with extended powers as according to the Act on national monument preservation. It also carries out duties of building supervision during the reconstruction of cultural monuments in accordance with monument preservation and within its scope of competency it ensures that this Act is adhered to. It also deals with any grants for monument preservation.
