The Secret of the Rainforest

The mother of all rivers, the Amazon, and the largest rainforest on the planet. We will follow its course from the Atlantic Ocean from the city of Macapá to the rubber city of Iquitos. We'll discover the towns along its banks and the heart of the Amazon, the port of Manaus. Here we will have our first contact with the rainforest and the indigenous people of the Rio Negro. The Yavari River hides many mysteries and the encounter with the Matses - jaguar women - will reveal the unique culture of these mysterious people. In the Rio Napo region of the Yasuni forest, members of the Huaorani tribe will give us an insight into their traditional life. A spectacular journey through the Amazon awaits us to discover the present and traces of the past.
