Hockeytown Cup

Dynamo will make the Olympic break more enjoyable for the fans. In February, the team will host the Hockeytown Cup!
Prepare well for the end of the season and entertain not only Pardubice fans. The goal set by the Dynamo organization for the upcoming Olympic break. From 13th to 15th of February, the first ever Hockeytown Cup will be held, bringing the prestigious Straubing Tigers and Kölner Haie from Germany and the Swiss SC Bern to the eastern Czech Republic. The tournament will of course feature the home team.

The Extraliga season will be interrupted by a long break in February 2026. The top competition will be suspended from 30 January to 24 February during the Winter Olympics in Italy. However, Pardubice fans will see Dynamo home games much earlier. The long break will be filled by the attractive international tournament Hockeytown Cup!

Pardubice will host top European teams - 16-time Swiss champion SC Bern, 2025 Spengler Cup finalist Straubing Tigers and last year's finalist of the highest German competition Kölner Haie.

The latter organisation - Kölner Haie - boasts the highest average attendance on the old continent. Straubing is often referred to as Germany's Hockeytown and Bern is a traditional bastion of Swiss hockey. We are expecting a large number of fans to come to Pardubice to support their team, and we are preparing a rich programme and a fanzone near the enteria arena not only for them.

Tournament system and programme
Teams are drawn into two semi-final pairs. The tournament will open on Friday, 13 February 2026 with the afternoon clash between Bern and Kölner Haie, while home side Dynamo Pardubice will play Straubing in the second semi-final in the evening. The winners of these matches will play for the Hockeytown Cup trophy in the final on Sunday 15 February 2026, while the losers will play for third place.
