Event description

The Gampa Gallery is the venue for the third annual Poetry is. After two years focused on performative work with poetic text, the festival of contemporary poetry is moving from the streets of Tábor to the Gallery of Pardubice, where it is presented in a new non-traditional exhibition format. The exhibition of the same name reflects contemporary tendencies in the art world, where poetic language is experiencing a revival across artistic disciplines. Here, poetry steps out of its comfort zone - the pages of books - and materializes in objects and multimedia installations by artists, poets and poets experimenting with text at the boundaries of intermedia approaches.
