Mezinárodní konference: Vystavovat architekturu / Mezi obrazem a narativem
Event description

How should architecture be exhibited today and what is the importance or benefit of these exhibitions?

Forty Czech and foreign theorists, curators, architects and artists who have long been involved in this topic offer different answers to these questions in the form of exhibited artworks or theoretical contributions to the publication.

The exhibition and the accompanying publication of the same name, Exhibiting Architecture (Gočár Gallery, Automatic Mills complex in Pardubice, 4 October 2025 - 22 February 2026) will be complemented by a two-day international conference (19-20 February) with the participation of theoreticians, active artists and architects.

Thanks to this event, interested members of the general cultural public, professionals and students will have the opportunity to meet personally with prominent figures from the Czech and international scene, listen to lectures and participate in debates. It is worth noting that personal meetings and lively discussions were the most frequently mentioned benefits of organising architectural exhibitions in the individual essays in the above publication.

Free admission, registration required.
