A Valentine's weekend in the Sphere full of love for creation and discovery
Another weekend in February will be dedicated to handicrafts, playful science and imagination for young and old. Programs with a love of craft, the joy of discovery and shared experiences across generations await us.
And what can you look forward to?

Saturday, February 14

Wicker Feeder
Come and try the magic of wicker work and create your own hanging bird feeder. During three hours you will learn the basics of wicker weaving and under the guidance of the lecturer you will create a bird feeder to hang. Natural materials, handwork and the joy of the finished product all await you in this creative program.

Sock cat with a big heart
A heartfelt affair for Valentine's Day! A sock cat made out of love can be a funny gift for you or your loved ones. Practice your tailoring skills on a simple stuffed animal and take away a piece of handmade joy from the textile workshop.

Illustrated badges
Make your own clip-on badges! You'll have a blast combining digital illustration and linocut: design your own motifs in a digital environment, try your hand at linocut printing and discover how the two techniques can work side by side and together. You will be able to take the finished posters home.

Spherical Playground: A Spherical Wonderland
According to the story, the curious Alice fell down a rabbit hole into a wondrous world where she encountered crazy and often strange characters. Did you know that we have a Spherical Wonderland here, too? Join us to find out what the wacky tea company has prepared for you, how to play croquet in such a world or how tricky the houseboy's riddles are!

Animals made of wood
Are you missing an original toy or decoration in your home? Come and make it in the wood workshop, where different wooden animals will be created. You will enjoy a lot of painting, cutting and sanding and you can even give your animal an original name.

Illustrated pancakes
Create your own clip-on pancakes! You'll be thrilled to combine digital illustration and linocut: design your own motifs in a digital environment, try your hand at linocut printing and discover how the two techniques can work side by side and together. You will be able to take the finished posters home.

Magneto games
Magnets are not only useful, they are tremendous fun! Come and explore electromagnetism and magnetic properties of substances through interesting tools and playful experiments!

Street Art Mosaic with Matěj Krajíček
In mid-February, the Sphere will open up to the world of mosaics and street art. This will be performed by the young artist Matěj Krajíček (Krajdos). Under his guidance you will create your own mosaic inspired by the legendary pixel artist - Invader.

Spherical playground: The Little Traveller
Want to travel the world with us? Then pack your bags, get in an adventurous mood and don't forget your passports! We'll travel to faraway lands where we'll experience lots of surprises, fun and games. We will explore, discover and overcome the challenges that travel brings. So where will we go and what awaits us there? We'll find out when we board!
