Koncert v kapli - Mezi nebem a zemí

Only a few times a year do visitors have the opportunity to experience a concert in the unique atmosphere of the Chapel of the Three Kings at Pardubice Castle. The concert, titled “Between Heaven and Earth,” will feature music performed in this Renaissance space by the female vocal trio Carpe Musicam voce feminea.
Sopranos Jana Stehr and Barbora Bouchnerová, together with contralto Kateřina Vachušková and with piano accompaniment by Alfred Stehr, will guide the audience through a program that bridges music from different centuries and styles. The program will include works by Claudio Monteverdi, Giulio Caccini, Johann Sebastian Bach, spirituals, and compositions by the contemporary British composer John Rutter. The concert promises an evening filled with beautiful voices, delicate harmonies, and the unique atmosphere of the castle chapel—a space that enhances the musical experience with its intimacy and exceptional acoustics.
