Horses

The 54-hectare Pardubice Racecourse is a modern racing and equestrian complex of European parameters, where one of the toughest steeplechases on the European continent - the Pardubice Steeplechase - is run. The race course is 6,900 metres long and horses climb 31 obstacles, the most famous, difficult and feared of which is the Great Taxis Ditch, which is only jumped during the Great Pardubice Steeplechase. Guided tours of the racecourse and stables are available throughout the year.

On the outskirts of Pardubice is the Apolenka farm, which is primarily dedicated to hipporehabilitation. However, you can come here at any time to feed llamas, goats and many other animals. Children can play on the playground and you can have a good ice cream or buy dairy products.
