Event description

Are you interested in the world around you and want to learn more about history, art, natural sciences, architecture, archaeology, or the work of museum professionals? Are you fascinated by the stories behind objects and people, or do you enjoy going on field trips? The East Bohemian Museum in Pardubice has prepared the Museum Academy educational program just for you.

This course, packed with lectures, guided tours, walks, workshops, and field trips takes place in the lecture hall of Pardubice Castle, in its surroundings, or at the museum’s storage facility in Ohrazenice, on irregular Wednesdays starting at 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

A walk through the historic center of Pardubice that playfully demonstrates how educators work with children in public spaces. Participants will try their hand at simple puzzles, movement activities, and elements of a storytelling game inspired by the history of the Pernštejn family.

Guides: Jan Krčál, Petra Štěpánová
The program begins in the lecture hall at Pardubice Castle.
