Take your children on a tour of the secret shelter built during the Cold War inside the castle ramparts! In the event of an enemy attack or radioactive fallout affecting the city, the regional civil defense headquarters was to direct rescue operations from its underground facilities. You’ll see firsthand how people in such a situation could communicate with the outside world from the shelter, how the diesel generator produced electricity, and you’ll get to experience what it took to manually maintain the air filtration system.
The temperature inside the shelter ranges from 12 to 15°C year-round, so be sure to wear appropriate clothing!

Admission: 100 CZK (flat rate)
The minimum number of participants for a tour is five; the maximum is 15.

The tour is primarily intended for families with children ages 6 to 12.
